Use this cream on small, targeted areas of the body rather than as an all-over moisturiser. Start with a modest amount, apply it to the area that feels dry, tense or tired, and massage gently until the cream is spread evenly. You can add a little more if the skin still feels dry, but using too much at once may leave the area feeling overly rich or make the warming sensation stronger than expected.
Good places to use it include elbows, knees, shoulders, lower back or legs after physical effort. Massage should be comfortable, not forceful. If the area is sensitive, use lighter pressure and keep the first application brief so you can judge how your skin responds to the formula and the cooling-then-warming effect from menthol and camphor.
Apply only to intact skin. Do not use it on cuts, irritated skin, freshly shaved areas if they sting easily, the eye area or mucous membranes. After applying, wash your hands unless your hands are the area being treated, because accidental contact with eyes or sensitive areas can feel unpleasant.
If you have sensitive or reactive skin, test a small area first and wait to see whether redness, burning or irritation appears. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a chronic skin condition or are unsure whether this type of warming cosmetic is suitable for you, ask a specialist before use.
