This bar is formulated for both face and body, but daily use from the start can be too drying, especially on facial skin which is thinner and more reactive. Begin by using it once every two days on the areas that tend to get oily or congested — typically the T-zone, back, or chest. Lather in your hands, apply gently, leave the foam on for 10–20 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. If after two weeks you feel no tightness, stinging, or flaking, you can increase to once daily. Many people find that using it every other day on the face and daily on the body (back, shoulders) strikes a good balance. Always follow with a light, non-comedogenic moisturiser while the skin is still slightly damp. If you use active leave-on products (retinoids, acids, benzoyl peroxide), alternate days rather than layering them with the soap to avoid barrier damage.
