There is no need to use this gel more often than your skin tolerates well. Because it contains birch tar extract and is aimed at thorough cleansing, it may feel stronger than a very mild everyday body wash. If your skin is prone to dryness, tightness or irritation, start by using it occasionally rather than automatically at every shower.
A practical approach is to use it on oilier areas of the body, such as the back, shoulders or chest, and avoid applying it repeatedly to areas that already feel dry. Rinse well and check how your skin feels once dry. If it feels comfortable, you may continue at a frequency that suits your routine. If it feels tight, rough, itchy or uncomfortable, use it less often or alternate with a gentler body cleanser.
Glycerin in the formula helps counter the tight feeling that stronger cleansers can sometimes leave, but it does not make the product suitable for every skin type or every day for everyone. Avoid the eye area, do not use on broken or very irritated skin, and stop using it if discomfort persists.
