For most routines, this gel can be used in the morning before serum and moisturiser, and in the evening after makeup or SPF removal. It is also reasonable after sport or a long day when the skin feels dusty, sweaty or warm. The important limit is that even a gentle cleanser can become too much if used too often, especially on sensitive or reactive skin.
If your skin feels tight after cleansing, first check the basics: use lukewarm water, apply only a small amount, massage for 20–30 seconds, and rinse fully. Avoid washing the face several times in a day unless there is a clear reason, such as heavy sweating. A cleanser should not leave a greasy film, but it also should not make the skin feel squeaky, stretched or uncomfortable.
Pay attention to what you combine it with. Strong exfoliating acids, retinoids and frequent cleansing on the same evening can increase the chance of dryness or stinging. If this happens, simplify the routine for a few days: cleanse gently, moisturise, and pause stronger leave-on products if needed. If redness, peeling or a rash persists, stop using the product and consult a dermatologist or pharmacist before continuing.
