Frequency depends on the area and your skin type. For the face, the stratum corneum is thinner and more prone to barrier disruption, so limit mask applications to once or twice a week, with at least 3–4 days between sessions. On the body — thighs, hips, back, shoulders — the skin is thicker and generally tolerates more frequent use; 2–3 times per week is reasonable if the skin remains comfortable. Clay baths are the gentlest format because the mineral concentration is low; 1–2 baths per week is a good starting rhythm. In all cases, monitor how your skin feels after rinsing and over the next 24 hours. Signs you are overdoing it include persistent tightness, flaking, increased sensitivity to your usual products, or a rough texture that does not improve with moisturiser. If any of these appear, reduce frequency by half and increase post-care hydration. Seasonal changes matter too: in winter or low-humidity environments, you may need to cut back further. The product is not a daily cleanser; it is a periodic deep-cleansing and revitalising step that complements, not replaces, your regular gentle cleansing routine.
