Skin: Two to three drops (or a fingertip scoop if solid) cover both hands or both elbows. For full-body use after a shower, you’ll need roughly a teaspoon total. Once or twice daily is typical for very dry areas; once daily or every other day suffices for maintenance. Apply to damp skin within three minutes of toweling off for best occlusion.
Hair: Pre-wash mask — one to two teaspoons for shoulder-length hair, focusing on mid-lengths to ends. Leave-in on damp ends — a pea-sized amount. Finishing touch on dry hair — a fingertip dab. Mask once or twice weekly; leave-in after every wash if ends are dry; finishing touch as needed.
Storage: Keep the bottle tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and heat sources (radiators, windowsills). Coconut oil melts around 24°C; melting and re-solidifying does not harm quality, but repeated cycles can introduce moisture if the cap is loose. A bathroom cabinet is fine if it doesn’t get steamy; a bedroom drawer is better. The 25 ml size typically lasts 2–4 months with regular skin use, longer if hair-only. Discard if it develops a rancid smell (old crayon / stale nut odor) or changes color to yellow-brown.
Hygiene: Always use clean, dry fingers or a small spatula — never dip wet hands into the bottle. Water contamination accelerates spoilage.
