Application technique matters more than volume. For fine hair, start with a pea-sized amount (roughly 5–8 ml), emulsify between palms, and distribute only from mid-lengths to ends. Avoid the root area entirely — fine hair gets weighed down easily, and the wheat germ oil and silk derivatives, while light, can still reduce volume at the crown. Rinse after 2 minutes; you'll feel slip immediately. For thick, coarse, or chemically processed hair (bleached, permed, repeatedly coloured), use a generous dollop (15–25 ml depending on length and density). Work it through sections, focusing on the most damaged zones — usually the last 10–15 cm. The hydrolysed keratin and collagen benefit from a slightly longer contact time (3–5 minutes) on porous hair because they need time to adsorb into lifted cuticle scales. Comb through with a wide-tooth comb in the shower to distribute evenly and reduce mechanical breakage. In both cases, keep the product off the scalp if you have sensitivity or tend toward greasy roots; the sage flower water and green tea extract provide a lighter finish, but the lipid content is designed for lengths, not scalp care.
