How long does the color last on brows and lashes, and what affects durability?

Oxidative dye penetrates the hair shaft, so it lasts until the tinted hairs shed naturally — typically 4–6 weeks for eyebrows (slower growth cycle) and 3–5 weeks for eyelashes (faster turnover). Individual results vary with hair porosity, aftercare, and environmental exposure.

To maximize longevity: avoid oil-based makeup removers, cleansing balms, and heavy eye creams on the tinted area for the first 24–48 hours; afterward, use gentle, water-based cleansers. UV exposure fades oxidative color, so wearing sunglasses outdoors helps. Chlorine and salt water accelerate fading — rinse with fresh water after swimming. Castor oil in the formula conditions hairs post-coloring, but applying additional castor or lash serum daily is fine once the initial 48-hour window passes. Do not re-tint sooner than 3 weeks to avoid over-processing; if roots show earlier, a brow pencil or mascara can bridge the gap.
