The patch releases aromatic repellent components that gradually evaporate from its surface. The scent zone that repels mosquitoes is therefore present as long as the patch remains attached and the volatile compounds are still present. In typical outdoor conditions—moderate temperature, normal humidity—the evaporation rate keeps the scent detectable for several hours, often 4–6 hours, and can extend up to 12 hours in cooler, less windy environments. High temperatures, wind or heavy sweating accelerate evaporation, shortening the effective period. The patch is designed for single‑use; once the scent fades, the patch should be discarded. If you need continuous protection, replace the patch after the scent has diminished or when you change clothes. The product is not a substitute for other protective measures such as clothing with tight weave or insect‑repellent treated fabrics.
Consult a specialist if you have chronic conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking medication that may interact with repellents.
