A regular adhesive patch is a pre-cut, sticky layer that you press onto the skin. This product is different: it is a gel that you spread yourself, and it forms a flexible film after application. The film is flexible and moves with the body, so it does not have the stiff edges of a plaster adhesive. Because it is a gel, you can apply it in a thin layer over a specific zone, which some people find more precise than a large patch.
