How does this rinse-off mask differ from a leave-on snail cream, and can I use both?

A rinse-off mask and a leave-on cream serve different roles. The mask's thicker layer stays on for 15–20 minutes, creating an occlusive environment that lets a higher dose of snail filtrate components (glycosaminoglycans, allantoin, glycoproteins) sit on the skin surface uninterrupted. This gives a more intensive hydration and smoothing effect in a single session — useful before an event, after travel, or during seasonal dryness.

A leave-on snail cream has a lighter texture designed for daily wear under sunscreen or makeup. It delivers lower concentrations continuously, supporting barrier function and comfort day to day. They're not redundant — the mask is a periodic boost, the cream is maintenance.

You can use both in the same routine: on mask days, cleanse, apply the mask for 15–20 minutes, rinse, then apply toner, serum, and your snail cream (or regular moisturizer). On non-mask days, just use the cream. Don't layer the mask over a heavy occlusive ointment — it won't penetrate as well. And don't use the mask more than three times weekly; the skin needs recovery time between intensive treatments.
