How does this cream-serum differ from a regular body lotion or body butter?

The cream-serum format is designed to combine the quick absorption of a serum with the moisturising capacity of a cream. A traditional body lotion is usually water-heavy and can feel thin; a body butter is oil-heavy and often leaves a greasy film that takes time to sink in. This product uses a lighter emulsion structure that spreads easily, delivers moisture to the upper skin layers, and finishes without a heavy or coated sensation. That makes it practical for mornings when you need to get dressed within a few minutes, and for skin that feels tight after showering but doesn't need the occlusion of a butter.

If your skin is very dry or you're in a low-humidity environment (heated indoor air in winter, for example), you may still prefer a richer butter on top of this product for extra barrier support. For normal to temporarily dehydrated skin, the cream-serum alone is often sufficient.
