Vannisool lavender bath salt is meant to be dissolved in warm bath water. A typical approach is to add a few handfuls (roughly 50–100 g, depending on your tub size and how strong you want the aroma) directly under the running tap so the crystals dissolve more quickly. The water should be warm rather than very hot: excessive heat makes the lavender essential oil evaporate faster and can be more drying to the skin.
Once the salt has dissolved, soak for about 15–20 minutes. That is usually enough time to enjoy the mineral-rich water and the lavender scent without the skin becoming waterlogged. When you get out, pat yourself dry. Some people rinse off with plain water afterwards, especially if they do not want to carry the scent or any salt residue into the rest of their routine; others leave it on. Both are fine — the skin feels fresh and smooth rather than heavily coated, so rinsing is a matter of preference, not necessity.
A few practical points:
Sea salt makes the water denser, so the tub can become slippery. Move carefully when getting in and out, and consider a bath mat.
Salt residue can settle on the tub surface. A quick rinse after draining usually prevents buildup.
If you use other bath additives in the same routine, add the salt first and let it dissolve before adding anything else.
To make the lavender aroma stronger or weaker, adjust the amount of salt rather than the water temperature.
This product is not a cleanser in the way soap or shower gel is. If you need to wash off dirt or sweat, use your usual soap before or after the soak. The bath salt is chosen for the bathing ritual itself — the mineral-rich water and the lavender atmosphere — not for lather or deep cleaning.
