The solution is designed to be diluted with water and applied to hot sauna stones or added to a steam generator's water reservoir. A common starting point is 5-10 ml (roughly one capful) per litre of water used for steam. For dry saunas, you can mix the solution in a bowl of water placed near the heater to allow gentle evaporation, which is less intense than pouring it directly onto very hot stones. This method gives you better control over the aroma's strength.
It's best to add it after the room has reached temperature. Start with a smaller amount to gauge the intensity, as the aroma can become quite potent in the enclosed, hot space. Ensure good ventilation between sessions. Since it's a water-based blend with essential oils, it disperses more evenly in steam than pure oils, which can smoke or burn. Never apply the undiluted solution directly to skin, and clean any spills from benches or floors to prevent slipping.
