The gel mask has two distinct uses depending on what your skin needs that day. As a light moisturizing step, apply a thin layer to clean skin on the face, neck, and décolleté when you want hydration without a rich finish — for example after a workout, in the morning before sunscreen and makeup, or anytime skin feels tight from air conditioning or heating. It absorbs quickly and leaves a non-sticky surface that sits well under other products.
For a more intensive hydration session, use it as an overnight-style mask two to three times a week. After cleansing in the evening, apply a visibly thicker layer — enough that the gel remains slightly tacky on the surface — and leave it on while you sleep. The extended contact time gives the hyaluronic acid more opportunity to bind water at the skin surface. In the morning, rinse with lukewarm water or simply cleanse as usual. You can also use the thicker-layer approach for 20–30 minutes before an event, then gently tissue off excess and proceed with makeup.
Both methods work because the formula is designed to deliver water-binding ingredients in a gel base that does not occlude heavily. Choose the thin layer for daily comfort and makeup prep; choose the thick layer when skin looks dull, feels rough, or has lost elasticity after travel, a long day indoors, or seasonal changes.
