This concentrate is designed to be used diluted. For a sauna or steam room, add a small amount—typically one to two capfuls (around 10-20 ml)—directly to a ladle of water just before pouring it over the hot stones. The heat will instantly turn the water and concentrate into a vapour that carries the eucalyptus scent throughout the room. It’s important to avoid pouring the undiluted concentrate directly onto the stones, as the high concentration of essential oil could produce an overpowering scent or, in rare cases, cause flare-ups. Always dilute it in the water first. The isopropyl alcohol in the formula helps the essential oil mix evenly with the water in your ladle, ensuring a consistent aroma release with each pour.
You can adjust the amount based on the size of your sauna and your personal preference for scent intensity. For a milder experience, especially if you are sensitive to strong aromas, start with half a capful. The product is also suitable for use in a steam generator or a cedar barrel sauna—simply add the recommended amount to the water reservoir according to your device’s instructions. After your session, any remaining diluted mixture in your ladle can be discarded; do not store it for later use as the essential oil can separate.
