After shampooing, squeeze excess water from your hair so it’s damp but not dripping. Take an amount suited to your length — roughly a walnut-sized portion for shoulder-length hair, more for longer or thicker hair — and distribute it evenly from the mid-lengths down to the ends. Avoid the scalp area unless your roots are also very dry; the mask is formulated for the lengths where damage accumulates. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes. For a more intensive treatment, you can wrap your hair in a warm towel during this time; the gentle heat helps the conditioning film from the milk proteins and the humectant action of honey penetrate more effectively. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear and no slippery residue remains. Use once a week as a deeper conditioning step in place of your regular conditioner. If your hair is extremely dry or heavily bleached, you may use it twice a week for a short period, then return to weekly. The 30 ml tube provides approximately one to two full applications for medium-length hair, so plan accordingly if you want to test it over several weeks.
