How do I use this balm on my skin, and how much should I apply?

Use a small amount first. Because the balm contains 12.5% resin, it is more concentrated and thicker than a plain oil, so you can cover a fair area with very little. Warm a small piece between your fingertips to soften it before applying. Then massage it gently into dry, rough, weather-exposed or tired-looking skin areas. The cedar nut oil in the blend is naturally rich in fatty acids, which help soften the skin, reduce roughness and improve suppleness by supporting the skin's own protective barrier. The resin part forms a light coating on the surface, helping shield dry areas from external stress and moisture loss.

For massage, this balm is practical when you want a heavier oil that does not disappear too quickly. The resin gives it some grip, so it can be used on larger areas like arms, legs or back. Again, begin with less than you think you need; you can always add more if your hands start to drag.

If your skin is reactive, try it on a small patch before applying it to larger areas. The resin aroma is intense, so people who are sensitive to strong scents may want to use it sparingly at first. Avoid applying it to irritated areas if resin-rich products do not suit you. This is a general dry-skin and massage balm, not a medicine for skin conditions.
