For everyday conditioning, apply a small amount to clean, damp hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends where hair tends to be driest and most damaged. Work it through with fingers or a wide-tooth comb, then rinse thoroughly after 1–2 minutes. This gives smoothness and easier detangling without weighing fine hair down.
When hair feels especially rough, porous, or tired — for example after colouring, heat styling, or seasonal dryness — you can treat it as a mask. After shampooing, squeeze out excess water, apply a slightly more generous amount through the lengths and ends, and leave it on for 5–10 minutes before rinsing. The longer contact time lets the hydrolysed keratin fragments adhere to damaged areas of the hair shaft and allows panthenol to draw more moisture into the fibre. Coconut oil helps seal that moisture in.
If your hair gets weighed down easily, start with a pea-sized amount and concentrate only on the last 5–7 cm of the ends. You can always add more next wash if needed. Pairing it with a gentle, non-stripping shampoo helps maintain the conditioning benefit rather than washing it straight back out.
