Start with a small amount — roughly a hazelnut-sized portion for shoulder-length hair, adjusting up or down based on your length and thickness. Because the formula is concentrated, it spreads more easily than a standard conditioner; you'll feel it emulsify quickly in wet hands. Apply it only to the mid-lengths and ends where hair is older, more porous, and prone to splitting. Avoid the scalp area, especially if your roots tend to get oily fast. Leave it on for 1–3 minutes while you finish your shower; this gives the aloe extract time to bind moisture and smooth the cuticle. Rinse with lukewarm water until the hair feels clean but not squeaky. For very fine hair, use half the amount and rinse a little sooner. For bleached, coloured, or sun-damaged lengths, you can be more generous and leave it the full three minutes. Use it after every shampoo or alternate with a lighter balm if you wash daily.
