Apply the gel after skin has been exposed to sun, wind or heat — ideally after a shower or gentle cleansing, so it goes onto clean skin. Take a small amount, spread it in a thin layer over the face, shoulders, arms, legs or any area that feels warm, dry or tight, and let it absorb. It sinks in quickly and does not leave a sticky film, so you can get dressed shortly after applying. Two thin layers work better than one thick one if a larger area feels dry.
A few boundaries to keep in mind:
Remember that an after-sun product does nothing to protect you from UV: it belongs to the evening or post-exposure part of the routine, while sunscreen remains the daytime step. If you go back into the sun the next day, apply your SPF product as usual — the gel does not replace it.
