Apply the cream to clean, dry, intact skin. Squeeze out a small amount — roughly the size of a cherry for one large area such as a calf or the lower back — and warm it between your palms first so it spreads more easily. Massage it in with slow, light-to-medium strokes, then let it absorb. The cream is designed so that it spreads easily and does not leave a heavy greasy film, so you do not need a thick layer.
It is meant for the body, especially areas where people like a warming rub: calves, thighs, shoulders, lower back, and tired leg muscles. Light massage movements themselves can help you unwind after sport, standing for hours, or garden work. The cream adds a noticeable 'hot' feel to that massage.
You can use it in different ways depending on the situation:
After training: apply after a shower, then do a few gentle stretches while the warmth is still noticeable.
After a day on your feet: massage it into calves and thighs, and use light pressure on the lower back if that area is tense.
Before going outside in cold weather: some people use it to get a warming sensation on the skin during a walk, but dress normally and do not use it as a substitute for proper cold-weather clothing.
Do not apply it to the face, near the eyes, on mucous membranes, or on irritated, sunburned, or broken skin. Wash your hands after use. If you want to use it on the middle of your back, ask someone to help, or apply it in small sections so you do not miss the area.
