The Amazonka bracelet is a stretch bracelet with no clasp: the beads are strung on elastic, so you slide it over your hand and onto your wrist. Because the beads are 16 mm in diameter, the piece sits visibly on the wrist. The elastic stretches to fit, but avoid pulling it beyond its natural range: overstretching can cause the cord to lose elasticity or break.
To keep the bracelet in good condition, take it off before swimming, showering, or doing activities that involve prolonged contact with water. Moisture can weaken the elastic and leave the stone looking dull. Also remove it before applying perfumes, body lotions, or cleaning products, as these can leave a film on the beads or damage the cord. If the beads gather dust, wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth. When you are not wearing the bracelet, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and away from other jewellery that could scratch it.
The elastic will naturally relax over time, so be gentle when putting the bracelet on and taking it off. If it becomes too loose to stay on the wrist, it is usually easier to replace the cord than to wear a loose bracelet. If your skin is sensitive, wear the bracelet for short periods first and remove it if irritation or discomfort appears. For chronic skin conditions, pregnancy, or breastfeeding, consult a specialist before use.
