How do I mix and apply this cream dye for the most even result at home?

This product is a cream colorant that must be mixed with a hydrogen peroxide developer (oxidant) before use — the developer is not included in the box. For most home applications with shade 8.0, a 6% (20 volume) developer is standard for touching up regrowth on previously colored hair, while 9% (30 volume) is used on virgin hair to achieve sufficient lift. Check the instruction leaflet for the exact mixing ratio; a common ratio for cream dyes is 1 part color to 1.5 parts developer (e.g., 50 ml color + 75 ml developer). Mix in a plastic or glass bowl with a tint brush until smooth — never use metal tools.

Apply to dry, unwashed hair (ideally 24–48 hours after last wash so natural oils protect the scalp). Section the hair and start at the roots/regrowth area, where heat from the scalp accelerates processing. Work through to the lengths only in the last 10–15 minutes if they need refreshing, to avoid over-darkening porous ends. Set a timer and check strand development visually. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until water runs clear, then apply the fixing balm, leave on 3–5 minutes, and rinse again. Wait 48 hours before shampooing to let the color stabilize.
