Size 1 fits waist circumferences of 60–71 cm. To measure correctly, use a soft tape measure and place it around your waist at the level of the navel. Do not measure at the narrowest point of the waist, because the binder is 24 cm wide and is intended to cover the whole abdominal area. The tape should be snug but not compress the skin.
If your measurement falls within 60–71 cm, Size 1 is likely the right choice. If you are between sizes, or if you have recently lost or gained weight, ask a specialist before choosing. The abdominal area can change during recovery after surgery or childbirth, so a size that fits at the start may not fit later.
When you try the binder, it should feel even all around. It should not leave deep red marks, cause pain, or make breathing difficult. If it shifts, folds, or rolls when you move, it may be too loose. The wide band distributes pressure evenly only when the size is correct.
