How do I bend and use the mouldable ribs?

The 4 rigid ribs are the structural part of the belt. They are mouldable, which means you can change their curve to match the natural arc of your lower back. The first time you use the belt, put it on loosely, and then press gently with your hands along the ribs to follow your lumbar curve. Work gradually and avoid sharp kinks—a smooth curve supports better than a hard fold.

Once the ribs feel shaped to your back, tighten the compression straps one side at a time. The straps should hold the belt firmly so the ribs stay in place while you move. You can readjust the shape later if the belt feels different after sitting or changing posture.

During wear, the ribs act like a framework that helps limit excessive bending or twisting and distributes load more evenly across the lumbar region. That is useful during physical tasks, but it is not a substitute for proper lifting technique or a doctor's advice for an existing condition. If any rib creates a painful or unusual pressure point, stop, remove the belt, and reshape it before using it again.
