The key to a natural glow is to place the fluid only where light would naturally hit your face: the tops of the cheekbones, the center of the brow bone, the bridge of the nose, and optionally the cupid's bow. Dispense a small amount—one or two drops is usually enough for both cheeks—and tap it gently onto the skin with your fingertip or a damp makeup sponge. Blend immediately in soft patting motions rather than dragging or rubbing, which can move the pigments around unevenly or make them clump.
If you apply too much at once, the shimmer can look concentrated or streaky instead of diffused. It is easier to add a second light layer if you want more intensity than to remove excess product. For an all-over subtle glow, mix one small drop of the fluid into your regular moisturizer or foundation before application, but test the combination on your hand first to make sure the textures blend well and do not separate. Because the fluid contains light-reflecting pigments, it works best on skin that is already clean and moisturized; applying it over very dry or flaky patches will emphasize texture rather than smooth it. If your skin feels tight or rough, exfoliate gently and moisturize before using the luminizer for a more even, radiant result.
