These Stolz GmbH insoles are designed as a universal men's size, which means they arrive larger than most shoes and are intended to be trimmed for a perfect fit. To do this, first remove the insole that came with your shoe. Place the new magnetic insole on top of it and carefully trace the outline with a pen or marker. Then, cut along the line using sharp household scissors. It's a good idea to leave a tiny margin (1-2 mm) inside the line for your first pair to ensure the insole doesn't bunch up inside your shoe. You can always trim more material off later if needed. This trimming process lets you adapt one pair of insoles to work with multiple pairs of shoes, as long as you keep the original templates.
Before cutting, ensure your shoes are clean and dry. The insole is made of a foam-like material that cuts cleanly. After trimming, the textured surface and magnetic inserts should remain centered under the main arch and ball of your foot for the intended effect.
