FOREST BALSAM contains sodium fluoride (fluoride mass fraction 0.1%), one of the most common ingredients in the fluoride toothpaste category. Fluoride is included in formulas to help keep enamel in good condition with regular brushing.
A fluoride mass fraction of 0.1% (equivalent to 1000 ppm) is typical of adult toothpastes for everyday use. However, this toothpaste is not for use in children under 14: there are separate formulas for them, with a different fluoride content and an adapted composition.
