Does it contain allergens or ingredients worth paying attention to?

The drink contains oat flour — this is important for people with a sensitivity to cereals or with coeliac disease. Under EU labelling rules, oats are classed as a gluten-containing cereal, and they are also often processed in facilities where there is contact with wheat, rye or barley, so this drink is not suitable for a strict gluten-free diet.

The plant part of the formula is quite varied: corn silk extract, green tea, apple, barberry, beetroot, coriander, bay leaf and also celery — one of the major food allergens. In addition, the product may contain peanuts, sesame, nuts, soya and milk. If you are prone to allergic reactions to any of these ingredients, read the full list of ingredients on the label before you first try it.

  • Chromium and L-carnitine are added functional substances. If you are particularly sensitive to supplements or take medicines that affect metabolism, it is advisable to consult a specialist first.
  • Green tea contains caffeine — worth bearing in mind if you are sensitive to caffeine or have anxiety or sleep problems.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women and people with chronic conditions are advised to consult a doctor before consuming it.
