Is there a risk of allergy or intolerance to this product?

The product contains plant extracts — chicory, blueberry and rosehip. All three are generally well tolerated by most people, but individual sensitivity to plant extracts and berries does occur.

The following points deserve particular attention:

  • Chicory belongs to the Asteraceae (Compositae) family. People who are allergic to plants of this family (for example ragweed, chrysanthemums or chamomile) may also react to chicory.
  • Berry extracts (blueberry, rosehip) — if you are prone to allergic reactions to berries or plant extracts, start with a small amount and assess your individual tolerance.
  • Inulin is a soluble fibre which, in some people, may cause digestive discomfort (bloating, wind) when consumed in large amounts. This is not an allergy but a feature of how fibre is fermented in the gut.

If you are intolerant to any of the product's ingredients, do not drink it. If you are trying it for the first time, it is sensible to start with a small serving, and if allergic reactions occur, stop drinking it and see a doctor.
