Visterra Iceland Moss extract is a plant-based food supplement, but that does not mean it suits absolutely everyone.
Pay attention to the following situations:
- Allergy to lichens or plants of the Parmeliaceae family. Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica) is a lichen, and people with a tendency to allergic reactions to plant components may have individual sensitivity.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding. The label states: not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Bitter substances and mucilaginous substances interact actively with the lining of the digestive tract, so with gastritis, ulcers or other chronic conditions it is worth checking with a specialist whether use is appropriate.
