The manufacturer explicitly states several restrictions:
- Damaged or irritated skin: the gel must not be applied to such areas. The acids and essential oils in the formula can increase irritation and cause an unwanted reaction.
- Sensitivity to the ingredients: if you know you react to acids (acetic, citric), essential oils (tea tree, rosemary) or plant extracts (celandine, shiitake), do not use the gel. Everyone else is advised to do a test before first use: a little of the product on the inside of the wrist, then a 10-minute wait.
In addition, the general recommendations for products with active ingredients apply: during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with chronic skin conditions or when taking medication, it is better to consult a doctor or dermatologist before use.
The gel is not intended for application to mucous membranes, the area around the eyes or other sensitive areas. It is a product for spot application to limited areas of skin and should not be used as an ordinary face or body care product.
