Although TEAVIT Ingveri taimetee is a herbal drink rather than a medicine, it contains ingredients with a pronounced taste and effect that do not suit everyone equally.
- Sensitivity to spices. Ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg can irritate the stomach lining in people with gastritis, an ulcer or high stomach acidity. If you know you have such a sensitivity, start with a small portion and watch how you react.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Large amounts of ginger are not recommended during certain stages of pregnancy. Consult a doctor before drinking it regularly.
- Children. Spicy herbal blends with ginger and spices are not intended for young children — check with a paediatrician from what age and in what amount they are acceptable.
- Allergy and individual intolerance. Check the full ingredient list on the pack: rosehip, lemon peel and lemon balm can cause a reaction in people with a corresponding sensitivity. The tea is not used in case of hypersensitivity to its ingredients, and if an allergic reaction occurs, stop drinking it and see a doctor.
This tea is not a medicine and is not intended to treat or prevent disease. If you have chronic conditions or take medicines, consult a specialist before adding it to your diet.
