Are there any restrictions on use — who should be more careful? — Turpentine rub "Lifebuoy" with fir oil, camphor and honey, 45 g - Dr. Retter

Although this is a cosmetic product for external use, its composition is quite active, and it should be used mindfully.

Do not apply the balm:

  • to broken, irritated or inflamed skin;
  • to mucous membranes and sensitive areas of the body;
  • to large areas of skin at once, especially the first time you use it.

Consult a specialist beforehand if:

  • you are pregnant or breastfeeding — camphor and turpentine are among the ingredients whose use during this period calls for caution;
  • you are using the product on children, especially young ones: camphor is contraindicated in children below a certain age, so check with a paediatrician;
  • you have marked vascular sensitivity or chronic skin conditions;
  • you are prone to allergic reactions to conifers, essential oils or fragrance ingredients.

Before the first use, always do a test on a small area of skin and watch the reaction for a few minutes. The balm is not a medicinal product and does not replace medical care for injuries or chronic conditions.
