Are there any restrictions on use, and who should consult a specialist before using it? — Nettle ointment 50ml

Although the composition of the ointment is simple and plant-based, in some cases it is worth consulting a specialist before use:

  • Allergy to beekeeping products. Beeswax is part of the ointment's base. If you have reactions to honey, propolis or other beekeeping products, check with your doctor whether this product suits you.
  • Marked irritation or damaged skin. The ointment is not applied to open cuts, inflamed or strongly irritated areas; this is a general rule for any cosmetic product with a dense texture.
  • Pregnancy. During this period any new skin products, especially those with plant extracts and a warming effect, are best agreed with your attending doctor.
  • Children. Choosing products for children's skin requires a separate approach: the composition and intensity of action must match the age.

In all other cases a standard patch test is recommended: apply a small amount of the ointment to the crook of the elbow or the wrist and assess the skin's reaction before full use.
