Despite its herbal composition, Ovesol is not suitable for everyone without reservation.
- Drug interactions. St John's wort, one of the ingredients of the formula, is known to be able to affect the metabolism of a number of medicines, including antidepressants, anticoagulants and some others. If you take any medication on a regular basis, be sure to check compatibility with a doctor or pharmacist before starting the course.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Ovesol is not taken during these periods — pregnancy and breastfeeding are listed in the warnings on the label.
- Chronic conditions. With chronic conditions, especially those involving the liver, gallbladder or gastrointestinal tract, you should not start taking supplements on your own initiative — a consultation is needed.
- Sensitivity to ingredients. If you know you react to turmeric, mint, St John's wort or oats, study the composition carefully before buying.
In all other cases, the supplement is intended for adults who want to include it in their routine consciously — together with a normal diet and lifestyle.
