The ointment contains two ingredients to which some people may have increased sensitivity: spruce resin and beeswax. Resinous substances sometimes cause contact irritation in people with reactive skin, and bee products in those who are allergic to them. If you have such an experience, before full use it is worth applying a small amount of the ointment to a limited area of skin and observing the reaction over several hours.

The product is intended for external use only. It should not be applied to open wounds or to inflamed or weeping areas of skin. In the case of pronounced skin irritation, it is better to consult a specialist before using any products with a dense occlusive texture.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women and people with chronic skin conditions are advised to get the advice of a doctor or dermatologist before use.

The ointment should be used on children with caution and only under adult supervision — not because of any particular danger in the composition, but because children's skin is more sensitive to any new product.
