Does this mask help with split ends and damaged hair?

This mask is designed for hair that has a rough, dull, or straw-like feel, especially after heat styling, colouring, sun, or frequent washing. It can improve the appearance of the surface, make lengths feel more supple, and help hair detangle more easily, so damaged-looking ends can look neater and more polished for a while.

However, a split end is a physical break in the hair fibre. No rinse-off mask can permanently fuse or repair that break. The product can coat and smooth the area temporarily, which may make the split less visible and soften the rough texture, but the split remains until it is trimmed. Regular trims and gentle detangling from the bottom up are still the most practical ways to manage split ends.

For heavily bleached or very porous hair, a mask like this can be a helpful extra conditioning step between trims. It does not replace sensible styling habits; if you continue using high heat on brittle lengths, the ends are likely to keep splitting no matter how often you condition them.
