Does this corrector fix posture on its own, or can it replace exercise and therapy?

No. The Fosta children's posture corrector is a mechanical aid, not a treatment. It is designed to guide the upper body into a more upright position and to give the child a light reminder to keep the chest open and the back straighter while worn. It does not force the spine into a position and does not, by itself, produce a permanent change.

The product should be used only on the advice of a paediatrician, orthopaedist or physiotherapist. These specialists can also recommend what else may be needed: muscle strengthening, stretching, a better desk setup, or other measures. The corrector can be part of such a routine, but it should not replace movement, exercise or any prescribed treatment.
