Does the tar smell stay on my skin after washing?

Birch tar has a distinctive, smoky scent that is noticeable while you wash. After rinsing, the smell usually fades, but a faint trace can remain on the skin for a short time, especially if you use the soap generously or do not rinse thoroughly. The product contains no added perfume, so the aroma comes entirely from the tar itself.

The scent typically does not stay on towels or clothing after a proper rinse, but it can linger on the soap bar itself, which is normal.
