The cream contains olive oil and beeswax. Olive oil acts as an emollient and helps the skin retain moisture, while beeswax forms a thin protective barrier that reduces the effects of wind, dry air and changes in temperature. That is why the cream is especially popular in the cold season: when the heating is on, indoor air becomes dry and facial skin loses moisture faster than usual.

It is most convenient to include it in your evening routine: according to the instructions, the cream is applied 2 hours before bedtime and any excess is then removed with a tissue — this gives it time to absorb without exposure to the outside environment.
