What do the patches contain, and what is each ingredient for? — Kinoki detox foot patches N10

The KIYOME KINOKI formula combines several groups of ingredients, each with its own function as part of topical use:

  • Bamboo and bamboo resin form the base of the pad; bamboo materials retain moisture well and ensure a close fit to the skin.
  • Vinegar is a traditional ingredient of Asian foot patches; it helps create a moist environment inside the pad.
  • Tourmaline is a mineral that slightly ionises the air near the surface when heated; in patches it is used as an auxiliary ingredient that affects how contact with the skin feels.
  • Silicon dioxide is an absorbent agent that helps the pad retain moisture and keep its shape through the night.
  • Chitosan is a derivative of chitin (from crustacean shells); in cosmetic formulas it is used to improve texture and adhesion.
  • Orange oil extract adds a light citrus scent, making use more pleasant.
  • Loquat (Japanese medlar) leaves are a plant ingredient traditionally used in Eastern cosmetics for skin care.
  • Vitamin C and plant-derived vitamin E are antioxidants; in the patch they play a supporting role at the level of the skin surface.
  • Trace elements complement the mineral part of the formula.

All the ingredients act locally, on the surface of the foot. The product is not intended to have a systemic effect on the body and is not a substitute for medical procedures or a balanced diet.
