What does the formula contain, and what is each component for?

Hydrolysed collagen types I, II and III is a structural protein of connective tissue. Hydrolysis means the molecules have already been broken down into short peptides: this form is easier to absorb than native collagen. Collagen is found in cartilage, ligaments, tendons and skin.

Glucosamine and chondroitin are substances found in cartilage and synovial fluid. That is why they are often included in supplements aimed at supporting the joints and smooth movement.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a source of organic sulfur. Sulfur is involved in the synthesis of connective tissue, which is why MSM is often combined with collagen and chondroprotectors.

Vitamin C is needed for the body's normal formation of its own collagen — without enough ascorbic acid, this process is disrupted. Including vitamin C in a collagen complex is considered biochemically justified.

Vitamin D is important for maintaining bone tissue and normal muscle function.

Vitamin B12 and L-carnitine are often chosen during periods of increased physical activity and recovery from it.

Turmeric and green tea contain natural antioxidant compounds (curcuminoids and catechins, respectively) that help protect cells from oxidative stress, which can increase during intense training.
