According to the card, this is a grounded protective plate made of shungite, and, as the manufacturer claims, the shungite plate suppresses the electromagnetic radiation of household appliances; it is attached with a magnet to the metal surface of a refrigerator, microwave oven and similar appliances. What shungite is, where it comes from, and how and to what extent this works, the card does not explain and gives no confirmation. The shape of the plate differs between the descriptions: round in the Russian and English ones, square in the Estonian one; the dimensions are 5.5x5.5 cm.
