Dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) is a flavonoid of plant origin. Flavonoids are a large group of compounds found in many fruits, vegetables and plants and known for their antioxidant properties. Taxifolin stands out among them for its good bioavailability, that is, its ability to be absorbed by the body.
An antioxidant effect means that the substance helps cells withstand oxidative stress — a process in which unstable molecules (free radicals) damage cell structures. Oxidative stress increases under the influence of a polluted environment, chronic fatigue, lack of sleep and intense exertion.
Vascular tissue is particularly sensitive to these processes, which is why dihydroquercetin is often included in the diet with a particular focus on supporting microcirculation and the condition of the vessel walls. It is chosen by middle-aged and older people, by those who spend a lot of time working indoors, and by those under mental or physical strain.
It is important to understand that this is a food supplement, not a medicine. It does not replace a varied diet and is not intended to treat or prevent any disease. The supplement is not used in case of hypersensitivity to its ingredients. If you have a chronic condition, take medicines for the heart and blood vessels, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a specialist before use. Adults: 1 tablet a day with food; the recommended daily dose must not be exceeded.
