How does liquid tar soap differ from a solid bar, and is there any practical difference?

The main difference lies in how it is used and in hygiene. A solid bar sits in a soap dish, collects moisture and comes into contact with various surfaces. Liquid soap is kept in a closed bottle: each time you take exactly as much as you need without touching the rest of the product with your hands.

In terms of cleansing, both formats contain tar as the active ingredient, so there is no fundamental difference in how they work. Liquid soap spreads over the skin more quickly and lathers without first having to work up a lather on a bar – which is convenient when you need to wash your hands quickly or use the product in the shower.

The 270 ml bottle is easy to take in a gym bag or on a trip: it does not go soggy or crumble in transit the way a bar does. For family use, the liquid format is also more practical – everyone takes the amount they need without leaving traces on a shared bar of soap.
