Troxerutin is a flavonoid widely used in cosmetic formulas for the skin over veins and capillaries. It helps reduce the permeability of small blood vessels and strengthen their walls, so that the skin of the lower legs may look less ‘congested’ and the feeling of fullness after long periods of standing or sitting may be less pronounced.
Glucosyl hesperidin is a derivative of citrus bioflavonoids. In cosmetics, it is valued for supporting microcirculation and capillary tone, which complements the action of troxerutin.
The plant extracts in the formula were chosen on a similar principle:
Horse chestnut — one of the best-known ingredients in products for the skin over veins.
Butcher's broom — traditionally used in formulas for capillaries and a feeling of tone in the legs.
Lemon and goldenrod — sources of additional flavonoids that enhance the overall effect of the formula.
Walnut shell extract — included in balms of this kind to support skin elasticity.
Niacinamide helps maintain the good appearance of the skin in general, while menthol adds a light cooling effect — especially noticeable and pleasant after physical exertion or a long day on your feet.
