The dry motherwort extract used in these tablets is obtained by concentrating the plant material: water and ballast substances are removed, leaving a higher concentration of active components in a stable form. This means that the composition remains predictable from tablet to tablet — unlike home-made infusions or herbal blends, where the concentration can vary depending on the batch of raw material, the brewing method and the steeping time.
Motherwort tincture contains alcohol as a solvent, which makes it inconvenient for people who avoid alcohol, as well as for those who take the supplement during the working day or when driving. The tablet form does not have this limitation: it is easy to take with you, requires no measuring and does not have the characteristic bitter taste of the tincture.
In addition, the formula includes vitamin B6, which is involved in the synthesis of neurotransmitters — substances that transmit signals between nerve cells. This gives the formula a somewhat broader scope compared with single-herb products based on the plant alone.
The pack of 300 tablets is designed for a long course without the need to restock often — this is relevant if you plan to take the supplement regularly during periods of increased strain.
