How does the powder differ from capsules, and how should it be stored?

The powder form differs from capsules above all in flexibility: you stir the amount you need into warm water yourself instead of being tied to a fixed dose in a shell. This is closer to the classic Ayurvedic way of taking it and is convenient for those who find capsules difficult or unpleasant to swallow.

The format also has features worth taking into account:

  • the pronounced herbal, sour and astringent taste takes getting used to: in a capsule it is almost unnoticeable, whereas in a powder it comes through fully;
  • the powder needs a couple of minutes to prepare the drink, whereas a capsule can simply be washed down.

As for storage, the general rules for dry herbal powders apply: keep the packaging tightly closed, in a dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from moisture, so that the powder does not get damp or cake. According to the label, store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C, out of the reach of children. This approach helps to keep the usual appearance and taste of the product throughout the whole period of use.
